   It will be different from brand to brand and binding to binding set. Total weight of my teaching pair 170 cm is 8 lbs, another pair is 11 lbs with heavier bindings. I never notice the difference when skiing.

   It varies depending on what the make-up of the materials are.

   Volant skis have a stainless steel topsheet, so they tend to be heavier tha other skis. My 185 K2 telemark skis weigh about 3 lbs less than my 185 K2 alpine skis.

   Best bet is to check the manufacturer's webpages for the exact info about the skis you are looking for and compare.

   I have 2 skis that are 176cm
   on my bathroom scale: Elan Magfire14 weighed 9.8lbs
   Atomic Race GS weighed 7.4lbs
   both wieghts were for one ski(not a pair) with bindings mounted
