It varies, but I'd say Colorado. It's always beautiful and snowy, even in spring! I love it there! Vermont is the worst! But Colorado and Utah are the best and both have great skiing and are beautiful!

Ultimate Flyer 52
Outside magazine called it a “steerable snow rocket.” The New York Times dubbed it “an instant heirloom.” Designed by a Colorado sledmaker, crafted entirely by hand, the Ultimate Flyer is an incredible sled. The whole front section pivots, so it turns far more sharply than a conventional flexible flyer. The bottom is molded plastic, not metal runners, so it floats through powder and bites through hard-packed snow or ice. The body and handle are kiln-dried birch, the handrails are willow, and the finish is marine-grade. Meets all USC and ASTM child-safety requirements. The Ultimate Flyer 52″ Sled measures 52″L x 23″W x 4″ H, 14 lbs. Holds up to 300 pounds. is the skiing in lake tahoe as good as utah or colorado? is it as scenic? are there any nice ski towns there i like park city, aspen and telluride all very pretty does that area have any nice towns like that?

I've skied at Brianhead (Utah), Heavenly (Tahoe), and several resorts in Colorado. The snow is different, but can be nice. I think the powder in Colorado and Utah can be VERY nice (and dry!). They don't call it "Sierra cement" for nothing.

There's lots of towns that support the major resorts at Tahoe. The views are wonderful - I mean, snow-covered mountains with a massively big alpine lake down below. Fantastic!

Pikes Peak Colorado Ski Resort

Ski area planned for Pikes Peak 350 condos, 300-room hotel may be included.John Ball, former CEO of Eller Industries, a Boulderbased broadband company, has a contract with local climbing legend Harvey Carter to buy 320 acres south of The Crags. He plans to build The Resort at Pikes Peak, a renewable-energy-powered ski area with slopeside condos.
Ball envisions a community hill used mainly by residents of El Paso and Teller counties. It could eventually include five chairlifts, 33 ski trails, three restaurants, a 300-room hotel and 350 condos.
It would be part of a trend in niche family hills that survive in the shadows of corporate giants like Vail Resorts by being closer to cities and therefore more convenient for skiers and snowboarders.

“It would be like Eldora, just above Boulder,” Ball said Wednesday. So if you want to get in now before it’s to late and prices increase in this area Call Brian Lloyd today at 719-243-4057 and lets get you into something today.
