I’ve seen this on Lifetime once a long time ago and could never remember the name of the movie. All I remember is that a young girl is training for some sport, skiing I think, in the woods. She gets hurt and two hermit men who live in a desolate cabin in the woods find her and basically kidnap her. The movie ends with her being rescued by helicopter and next scene is her identifying the two kidnappers in a lineup. Help!
the abduction of kari swenson …that was a really interesting movie.

Carefully crafted for hardcore alpine athletes and skiers who take to remote backcountry terrain in helicopters and snowshoes, the stable and predictable Apache Coomba powder ski is the product of years of collaborative research with the late Doug Coombs, the two-time World Extreme Skiing Champion and Chugach Mountain range heli skiing pioneer. The Apache Coomba is K2’s serious alpinist powder ski, without the twitchy characteristics found in some experts-only skis. It features shaped tips and a progressive sidecut to provide predictable turning performance in variable snow conditions. The refined turn control and forgiving qualities make the Apache Coomba ideal for advanced skiers who are new to heli skiing and natural backcountry terrain. K2 balanced the flex pattern throughout the length of the Apache Coomba and gave it a 102-mm. waist for superb floatation in deep snow and better control in frozen crud. Doug Coombs and K2 gave the Apache Coomba a light and predictable fir wood core with a triaxially-braided, torsion box construction. K2’s Mod Technology helps dampen vibration and minimizes ski chatter at speed on wind-scored glacier snow. K2 compares Mod Technology to shock absorbers in an off-road car. It’s an ‘elastomeric secondary core’ that’s independent of the wood core that dampens vibrations without taking anything away from the overall ski flex. To say that Doug Coombs made an impression on many skiers’ lives is a bit of a trite understatement. His warm personality and positive attitude were infectious (even to us at Altrec.com). For every Apache Coomba Ski sold, K2 donates a percentage of the money to Doug’s wife Emily, their son, David, and the American Mountain Guide Association’s Chad Vanderham Endowment for improving guide education and safety.

Hi Folks
Mother iis a tad old at 78, but is starting to raise silly issues.
My Sister was accused of being a bit daft in taking her children, my neices & nephew to a festival, which they enjoyed.
My two sons came with with me to a water-skiing event, and I was told it was foolish, as I took part.
The final straw yesterday was her saying "God, you are stupid"!
I have a pilots ticket to fly a helicopter, and fixed wing, ski at county level, and allsorts.
I do not normally boast about this, but as Mother darling is an ex-secretary, I object to being called a fool.
Do you get similar ?
Bob
. She is like your Mum in some waysPerhaps your Mum at 78 is becoming senile - no disrespect.
We have an 86 year old lives with us who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, your lucky, I get told I'm stupid, Get really filthy looks, and mumbles behind my back most of the time.
So, you see you are not the only one out there with problems. Best thing to do is ignore them and walk away, don't get into conflict with your Mum it will make her worse.
Good luck,
Get her checked out at the Doctor's,. does she forget things I forgot to ask.

Well, it seems like there are two good spots to heliski in Turkey; one is Kackarlar Mountain Range in North East Turkey and the second one is Taurus(Toros) Mountains in the Aladağ Range.

You see, i was on my way to the Bahamas when a deckhands told me we carried to much weight onto the boat 20 miles off shore. I like to take my exotic automobiles with me cause i dont like to leave them with my grandchildren cuase im afraid they may drive them too fast and over the speed limit.
By 25 miles offshore, I was told that i would have to choose one of my cars to dump overboard, but first, we had to move my jet ski's and horse carraiges out of the way cause they werent heavy. There was a Lambhorgini Gallardo and a Ferrari Spider but i decided to dump them both cause they had approximently 15,000 miles on each of them which is way longer than I keep most cars. After that, my boat continuied to sink so we had to start dumping caviar into the ocean because we were still sinking. But luckily, I was on my yacht that i just had a helipad installed so we used my helicopter to go to the Bahamas and I continued the rest of my vacation.
Now do you chaps know of any good crumpet stores
I don't know any good stores sorry….
