What is the best skiing state, Colorado, California, Oregon, Wyoming, Utah, or an others that I am forgetting.

It varies, but I'd say Colorado. It's always beautiful and snowy, even in spring! I love it there! Vermont is the worst! But Colorado and Utah are the best and both have great skiing and are beautiful!
I'd say Utah, because all the best resorts are so close to Salt Lake, and so close to each other.
Anything that lets me cut down my gas-money and get in a good ski I'm all for. References :
Definitely Utah, because of variety, snow quality, quantity, and also facilities at and near the ski resorts. Alta and Deer Valley are two of the best ski resorts in the Americas, both in Utah, Park City has one of the best parks in the world (if not the best) References :

Utah all the way. It has 13 ski and board resorts two of which are ski only, Alta and Deer Valley. I have been up to a few of them myself such as Solitude, Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Park City. My personal favorite is Park City with parks and a huge mountain terrain for beginners and experts. Alta is my second favorite because of no snowboarders and fresh powder(no offense to boarders). I'd say Snowbird is a very advanced ski resort with a tram and a new tunnel that goes straight through the mountain. Brighton has an awesome park and also night skiing. Solitude I can't say much about since I have only been there once. I have also heard that Deer Valley is cool but very expensive.
