just a little add to the topic: The Norwegian guy Tormod Granheim was the first man ever to ski down the northface of everest, on his way to the summit he used 24 hours from BC to the summit. On his way down he lost his friend who fell 1300 altitude meters to his death.

True, but Kit had her skis carried (at least part way) up Everest by Sherpas. To my mind that doesn’t count as a true ski-mountaineering decent.

Karnicar was the first to ski from the summit of Everest, but I’m pretty sure he wasn’t the first to ski from the “Seven Summits” (highest on each continent). I think Kit Deslauriers, a woman, completed them all about a month before Karnicar.
