I am looking for ski packages for 6-8 people. Also I am not familiar with skiing in that area so if you could mention what the nicer ski resorts would be that would be great. Any resorts from good-excellent would work. Thanks
snowshoe wva is where you want to be. it is harder to get to than winterplace, but the difference is worth it. you're pretty limited to reservations from on the mountain…BTW, in the middle of no where,,,,,www.snowshoemtn.com

My grandma owns a house on the slopes of winterplace. You can get a ski package from the resort and rent the chalet from my grandma. I would also check out snowshoe, timberline, and canaan valley if your interested in skiing there.

Yeah Snowshoe is the best ski resort within 300 miles i'd say. Its in the middle of a national park and is a little pricier compared to others on the east coast. But you definatly get better skiing and nicer places to stay as well, and im pretty sure they just addded some new slopes this year.
