I am 15, almost 16 years old and all my life I have been fascinated in Ski Jumping and devoted a large portion of my time going from event to event. Just recently, I attended a tournament and told myself I was going to learn how to do it. I cannot keep it off my mind, and I know it takes a lot of effort, strength and much more, but I don't know if I am too old to begin because I see many people that have been ski jumping since they were the age of five. I have many resources to help me learn and even have 5 hills (118-65-40-20-10 meters) in my hometown, so I think I would have a place to go to begin something as tremendous as this. I do not want to be an Olympic champion, I just want to know what it is like to be a ski jumper and experience what they do, but wondering if I am too far 'out of the loop' to be introduced to it…

You not too old at all. Get some training and safety tips. Start small and progress bigger and bigger jumps. You just need to focus and keep practicing at ski jumping and more often.
