Be more positive – for example instead of saying 'I would like to…..' sat 'I am going to…'.
Under EXPERIENCE explain what you learned from you time at the garage and how the experience will help you in the future.
In your INTERESTS list try to add something that will suggest you are a team player.

I would combine the objective,skills and abilities into one paparagraph and put it right at the top of your CV. Then lead in with your personal details.
A human resource officer will have little enough time to wade through all the CVs to get to relevant bits that will intrest them.
Give it them straightaway, be punchy, be bold. It will get you noticed.
