lizzybet,

Back in the day it had a lot to do with where you live (if you're close to a place like Little Cottonwood Canyon Utah - Home of Alta/Snowbird - it's easy to find killer deals). But nowadays with the convenience of the web you can find some good deals. would search the web specifically for the name of the product you're looking for.. tack on "product name ebay" or "product name demos for sale" etc.

You're actually looking at the wrong time of the year, so keep that in mind for the future as well. Generally, you can find the best deals at the *end* of the ski season.

Oh, and check in on a couple of retailers: EvoGear.com has a great used skis category. BackcountryOutlet.com has last year's and closeout gear.

Good luck
References :
http://www.altacam.com/forum

It's hard to say exactly. I don't think I would ever buy used skis unless I knew the seller personally, though. Tiger L's are a pretty basic ski, so I wouldn't pay any more than $250-300 for the whole set up-but use your own judgement...you know best what you're willing to pay and you've actually seen the setup.
References :
Hard to guess without knowing exacting how
"used" these skis are? How many times have they been used plus how old are they?
